Avalara is looking for an experienced Paid Search Manager that is passionate about driving engagement and growth to join our in-house digital media team. As Paid Search Manager, you\'ll be responsible for the execution of paid search strateg ies across key international markets , promoting our global suite of products. you\'ll partner with internal teams to exceed growth and ROI target s through ongoing optimization of paid search campaigns that efficiently generate d emand and revenue. Job Duties Launch and continuously optimize PPC campaigns on Google and Microsoft Monitor budgets and adjust bid strategies to generate new opportunities for Sales and produce positive ROI Strategize and lead paid search account restructure according to performance opportunities and future growth levers Collaborate with audience and product marketing teams on keyword selection , ad copy and audience targeting Meet regularly with Sales Development team to ensure they understand the intent and value of paid search leads, allowing them to effectively set appointments Collaborate with web and SEO team on landing page performance and other optimization opportunities Partner with marketing stakeholders and co nfer on paid search strategies for driving demand Proactively track KPIs, analyse performance insights and share results regularly with stakeholders Maintain partnerships with PPC ad platforms and vendors to ensure we are maximizing all available technology to drive growth Find ways to reduce risk of click fraud Keep abreast of PPC and industry trends , technologies, and best practices to continuously drive innovation and results What you\'ll Need to be Successful Requires 4-7 years experience directly managing PPC , preferably with or on behalf of B2B-focused or SaaS companies Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising certification required Proficiency in Salesforce and SA 360 (Google Marketing Platform suite of products) Experience running PPC campaigns internationally , including EMEA and APAC Experience managing large budgets and meeting/exceeding monthly goals for spend, MQLs, revenue, customer acquisition, and other key performance metrics Experience using advanced bid ding strateg ies such as offline conversions and value-based bidding Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data from various sources to make data-driven decisions E xperience in conducting and discerning actionable insights from A/B and multivariate testing Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing concepts Working knowledge of analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, PowerBI , e tc .) Outstanding communication, project management and collaboration skills with the ability to work with both technical and business teams Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects with competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines BS/BA in Marketing, Digital Media or a related field Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel)
