Key Responsibilities:
Conduct
formal assessments
to evaluate the child's
fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and overall functional abilities
.
Develop and implement
individualized therapy plans
to improve
grip strength, dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and sensory regulation
.
Provide
sensory integration therapy
and intervention strategies to enhance a child's ability to process and respond to sensory information.
Observe and collaborate with
Behavioral Therapists and Speech Therapists
to develop a holistic approach to therapy.
Work on
improving fine motor skills, finger coordination, and motor planning
to support classroom and daily life activities.
Document
monthly progress reports
to track the child's improvements and therapy outcomes.
Guide
parents and caregivers
, providing home-based strategies and techniques to reinforce therapy sessions.
Maintain ethical standards and ensure
confidentiality
in all therapy-related interactions.
Participate in
team meetings, training sessions, and special initiatives
for professional development.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors in Physiotherapy(BPT).
Experience:
0-2 years (Freshers with relevant experience can apply).
Skills:
Strong communication, observational skills, patience, and a passion for working with children facing sensory and motor challenges.
Preferred Extra Qualifications:
Experience working with
children with Autism, ADHD, or developmental coordination disorders
