Position: Packing Machine Operator

Industry: FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods)

Location: qatar

Experience: 2-5 years in packaging operations in an FMCG or manufacturing setup

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor automatic/semi-automatic packing machines (e.g., pouch filling, bottle labeling, carton sealing, flow wrap, shrink wrapping).

Set up machines based on product type and packaging requirements.

Perform changeovers, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting during production runs.

Ensure proper feeding of raw materials, packaging material, and labels into the machines.

Check and maintain packaging quality - weight, sealing, labeling, and batch coding.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene around the packing area as per GMP standards.

Record machine downtime, output, and report issues to the maintenance or production team.

Follow safety protocols and SOPs strictly during machine operations.

Assist with minor maintenance and alert technicians for major breakdowns.

Qualifications & Skills:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or any relevant field (preferred)

Familiarity with FMCG packaging lines and equipment

Basic knowledge of machine handling, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting

Physically fit, alert, and able to work in shifts

Team player with a focus on quality and safety
