Supervise packing of inventory (bhajiya, idra, patra, etc.) for takeaway, delivery, and retail distribution. Ensure accuracy in quantity, labeling (date, flavor/type), and presentation for all packed items.
2 Production Coordination
Collaborate closely with the production team to align daily packing based on demand or delivery schedules. Monitor real-time inventory levels to prevent wastage or stockouts.
3 Quality Control & Hygiene
Conduct regular checks on packaging materials (boxes, wraps, labels) for food-grade safety. Implement and enforce sanitation protocols in packing areas; coordinate cleaning schedules.
4 Team Management
Supervise packaging staff: assign tasks, monitor performance, train on standard operating procedures(SOPs).
Oversee attendance, shift scheduling, and adherence to packing timelines.
5 Logistics & Dispatch
Prepare packs for delivery or pickup; liaise with drivers or delivery partners.
Maintain packaging supplies inventory; raise purchase requisitions before stock is depleted. Collaborate with supply chain or procurement to ensure timely restocking.
7 Safety & Compliance
Ensure all packed goods comply with food safety standards.
Maintain accurate logs of packing and dispatch operations; support audits or inspections when required.
8 Continuous Improvement
Suggest improvements in packaging design, materials, and processes for cost-effectiveness and brand impact.
Track KPIs like order accuracy, packing turnaround time, and damage rates.
