Job Description

Perform repacking of chemical products from bulk to smaller packing or customer-specific packaging. Ensure accurate

weighing, filling, sealing, and labeling

of materials. Check packaging materials (bags, drums, bottles, cartons) before use to ensure quality. Maintain cleanliness of repacking area and machinery. Follow

standard operating procedures (SOPs)

and

safety protocols

while handling chemicals. Ensure proper documentation of repacked quantities in the logbook/system. Assist in loading/unloading activities when required. Coordinate with Production Supervisor for planning of daily repacking targets. Report any deviation, damage, leakage, or quality issue immediately. Maintain stock of packing materials and inform the supervisor in advance if materials are low. Support in periodic inventory and stock counting.

3. Skills & Competencies

Basic understanding of chemical handling (training will be provided). Ability to operate repacking tools/equipment. Knowledge of labeling norms and safety practices. Good physical stamina and ability to lift/shift materials when needed. Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

4. Qualification & Experience

Education:

10th / 12th Pass or ITI preferred.

Experience:

0-2 years in packaging or chemical repacking roles (freshers can also apply).

5. Working Conditions

Work in production/repacking area with mandatory use of PPE (gloves, mask, safety shoes, etc.). Shift duty as per company policy.

6. Salary Range

As per company norms and experience.
