Responsible for ensuring the quality of all packaging materials used in the production and distribution of lubricants. This includes incoming material inspection, packaging line checks, coordination with suppliers, and compliance with quality standards and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Incoming Material Inspection:
Inspect and test packaging materials upon arrival as per standard specifications.
Approve or reject materials based on quality standards and generate inspection reports.
In-Process Quality Checks:
Conduct regular quality checks during the packaging process.
Monitor packaging lines for proper sealing, labeling, and correct fill volumes.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate QC records for traceability.
Prepare daily quality reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and root cause analysis (RCA) for any deviations.
Supplier Coordination:
Communicate quality issues to packaging material suppliers.
Participate in vendor audits and evaluations.
Regulatory & Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company SOPs, ISO standards, and industry regulations.
Adhere to environmental, health, and safety protocols.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Recommend changes to packaging material specifications for improved quality and efficiency.
