CTG is seeking to fill a Package Specialist SAP SCM MM opening for our client in Mahattan, KS.
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Serve as the subject matter expert for SAP Materials Management (MM) processes, providing in-depth knowledge and guidance on procurement, inventory management, and vendor management processes.
Define, design, and improve system interfaces to integrate with suppliers and logistics partners using technologies such as IDOC, RFC, EDI, XML, and API.
Configure and customize SAP MM functionality to meet business requirements, including functional design specifications, user exits, utilities, interfaces, and reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of MM with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, WM, FI).
Troubleshoot and resolve procurement-related issues including purchase order processing, invoice verification, and payment processing.
Participate in system testing, user training, and documentation to support implementation and enhancements.
Provide ongoing production support and continuous improvement for SAP MM solutions.
Skills:
Expert knowledge and hands-on configuration experience with SAP MM.
Strong understanding of SAP SCM MM core processes.
Proficiency in integration technologies: IDOC, RFC, EDI, XML, API.
Ability to develop detailed functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
Extensive experience in SAP MM design, configuration, and implementation.
Proven experience working in cross-functional SAP projects with a focus on procurement and materials management.
Experience supporting end-to-end procurement cycles and resolving operational issues.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $65.00/hour to $85.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
