Description:
CTG is seeking to fill a Package Specialist - Salesforce Platform Services position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months
Duties:
Perform all activities typically handled by a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for the Salesforce Platform, demonstrating deep knowledge of Salesforce features and configurations.
Support all platform-related issues and coordinate with Salesforce (product vendor) and other partners to ensure timely resolution.
Maintain full awareness of upcoming Salesforce upgrades and patches, as well as those of other partner products, to proactively analyze impacts on current client implementations.
Guide the client development team on upgrade impacts to ensure timely updates to applications.
Identify process improvements, propose asset ideas, and support solutions to enhance productivity.
Analyze the client's IT environment to improve efficiency using DevOps methodologies and Salesforce-focused tools.
Drive improvements in Quality Assurance practices, including the development and refinement of test scenarios and test cases for Salesforce applications.
Utilize Salesforce Test Automation tools to increase testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Continuously enhance the Salesforce-DevOps tooling infrastructure.
Skills:
Deep knowledge of Salesforce Platform architecture, configuration, and administration.
Experience with Salesforce DevOps practices and tooling.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for complex platform issues.
Proficient in quality assurance methodologies, test scenario development, and automation frameworks.
Ability to analyze IT environments and recommend efficiency improvements.
Excellent collaboration skills with vendors, partners, and development teams.
Experience:
Proven experience in Salesforce Platform administration, SRE functions, and DevOps integration.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce upgrades, patches, and impact analysis.
Experience leveraging Salesforce Test Automation tools to optimize QA processes.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. Salesforce certifications highly desirable.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
