Introduction
As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients\' business environment and achieve business results.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Oracle SCM Cloud is the supply chain for the digital business. As one of the broadest SCM portfolios in the industry, it includes life cycle management, logistics, procurement, order management and planning. IBM provides consulting and implementation services for Oracle SCM Cloud, selecting the right strategy, products and path for your business. You can convert seat licenses to cloud services and existing support investment to credit for cloud applications.

Your day in the role will include...

• Configuration and review of Oracle Cloud applications to meet requirements along with documenting application set-ups and conduct application testing
• Creating and designing specifications for interfaces, data conversions, reports, application extensions
• Guide and best practice recommendations to client staff
• Provide client guidance on data reconciliation around historical data conversions
• Communicate issues, risks, and concerns to project leadership
• Provide direction to client on user procedures

You will come with...

• Identifying client\'s current business requirements and mapping them to the Oracle Cloud functionality (AS-IS to TO-BE Fitment)
• Designing the To-Be process for the client in lines with the Oracle out of the box best practices.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Overall industry experience of 12+ years
• Hands on experience in SCM Cloud
• Support system and UAT Testing and troubleshooting issues
• Developing security designs with client business requirements
• Good to have support or implementation experience in Oracle Order management, Shipping and inventory
• Experience of working with middleware and interfaces typically found in the EBS Purchasing landscape
• Will ideally have implemented Oracle Purchasing, end to end at least twice, with at least one in R12
• Superb understanding of the differences between R11 and R12, Oracle Application Architecture in releases R11i/12
• Extensive experience in functional application configuration/setup, change requests and impact analysis solution design and production support.
• Deep understanding of recognized Oracle Implementation documentation methodologies e.g. AIM

• Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
