You will be working as PA Senior Investigator HR at global grade 10 and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for BA Function Human Resources division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Global Function HRBP and will be responsible for working hand-in hand with the Lead Investigator PA (Process Automation) and Head of Integrity PA and other partners and stakeholders to manage a wide range of investigations or fact finding reviews of concerns reported to ABB\'s business ethics helpline. Managing matters to successful conclusion, through to disciplinary actions and remediation, including tracking and closing matters in ABB\'s case management system. Your responsibilities End to end accountability including leading investigation of HR matters for PA globally and into areas such as bullying and harassment, sexual harassment, discrimination, workplace respect, fairness and other forms of improper behavior Planning and conducting investigations, which would include analysis of allegations and facts, collection and review of HR and personnel records, collection and forensic analysis of emails and other data, transaction analysis and review, report writing and other duties as deemed appropriate by the company Preparing for and conducting often sensitive interviews of complainants, witnesses, victims and subjects with expertise, calmness and objectivity Undertaking thorough analysis of root causes of failures or errors and make suggestions for recommended process and controls improvements and liaise with the relevant internal controls / HR or other functions to track and drive remediation efforts Presenting the findings to the relevant management and committees to determine appropriate level of discipline and corrective actions in conformity with local labor laws in various countries Providing a high level of experience, expertise, guidance and leadership relative to company-wide, multi-jurisdictional, often complex reviews, which may impact employees, business operations and company reputation Using ABB case management system to track, manage and close matters, including remediation or follow up actions Providing guidance, supporting and expertising to HR colleagues themselves conducting investigations into HR related topics Your background Degree in law / accounting / audit such as LLB / CPA / CIA or equivalent Minimum 5+ years of experience in handling ethics and integrity investigations or forensic reviews in a multinational corporation, reputed legal firms or consulting firms or experience in white collar crime law enforcement Knowledge and experience of eDiscovery processes or data collection, analysis, results and reporting Good understanding of IT tools and especially MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Excellent communication skills, fluency in both written and verbal English is essential, additional languages a bonus Having good judgment and ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and strong work ethics Experience in conducting interviews with the highest sense of professionalism. Being able to adapt approach depending on issue type, for example, investigating behavioral concerns as opposed to allegations of code of conduct violations Self-starter and motivated individual to operate with minimal supervision in a dynamic and multicultural work environment and ability to multi-task with efficiency More about us ABB is a leading global technology company that energizes the transformation of society and industry to achieve a more productive, sustainable future.
