This role is essential for ensuring a continuous and safe supply of oxygen to critical care areas including the ICU, Emergency Department, and inpatient wards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor the hospital oxygen manifold and gas pipeline system.
Ensure the proper functioning of oxygen cylinders, pressure gauges, and flow-meters.
Coordinate with biomedical engineers, ICU staff, and other departments for oxygen supply needs.
Maintain logs and records of cylinder usage, refills, and pressure levels.
Follow all safety protocols and standards related to medical gas handling.
Respond promptly to emergency oxygen requirements or system malfunctions.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months of
experience working in a hospital setting
(mandatory).
Prior experience handling oxygen manifolds or medical gas systems is highly preferred.
Knowledge of safety standards related to oxygen and gas handling in healthcare.
Ability to work in a team and under emergency conditions.
