Overseas Student Counsellor



Location:-

Mavoor Rd, Calicut



We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Overseas Student Counselor to provide guidance and support to students seeking to study abroad. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international education systems, universities, and admission processes.

Key Responsibilities



1. Student Advising & Consultation



Provide personalized counselling to students regarding suitable countries, universities, courses, and education pathways based on their academic background, financial capability, and career goals. Conduct one-on-one and group counselling sessions to explain admission requirements, application timelines, fees, scholarship opportunities, and post-study options. Assist students in understanding cultural, academic, and lifestyle expectations of studying overseas.

2. Application & Admission Support



Guide students through the full application cycle, including document preparation, application submission, and follow-up with institutions. Review academic documents, personal statements, and portfolios to ensure they meet admission standards. Maintain accurate student application records in CRM or internal systems.

3. Visa Guidance



Advise students on student visa requirements and processes for various countries Assist with visa documentation preparation, submission, and interview readiness. Ensure all advice is compliant with current immigration policies and regulations.

4. Customer Service & Relationship Management



Build strong relationships with students, parents, partner institutions, and internal teams. Respond promptly to student inquiries through email, phone, messaging apps, or in-person meetings. Collaborate with university representatives and attend training sessions, workshops, and webinars.

5. Marketing & Outreach



Participate in education fairs, seminars, and school visits to promote overseas study opportunities. Support marketing teams in creating promotional materials, social media content, and student success stories. Conduct webinars or live sessions on study-abroad topics.

6. Compliance & Reporting



Ensure all counselling activities align with institutional policies, data privacy laws, and international education standards. Track student progress, application statuses, and conversion rates. Prepare weekly/monthly reports for management.

Experience



1 year of experience in student counselling, international education, or customer-facing roles Experience working with foreign universities or visa processes is an advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
