Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor the
ribbon burner oven
as per standard baking parameters.
Maintain correct oven temperature, speed, and airflow for uniform biscuit baking.
Check product appearance (color, texture, moisture) and make adjustments as needed.
Ensure smooth infeed and outfeed of biscuits from rotary moulder to packing.
Perform regular checks and cleaning of burners, conveyor belts, sensors, and blowers.
Identify and report any abnormal oven behavior, temperature fluctuations, or breakdowns to maintenance and supervisor.
Follow all
safety precautions
while handling heat zones and moving equipment.
Maintain daily operation log including shift-wise temperature records, batch information, and downtime.
Coordinate with
rotary operator
,
packing team
, and
quality department
to maintain flow and quality.
Clean the oven section at shift end and follow
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Experience in handling
ribbon burner gas ovens
(preferably in biscuit units).
Basic understanding of oven temperature control systems and conveyor speeds.
Familiarity with baking defects and how to rectify them.
Good communication and coordination with shift teams.
Physically fit to work in hot and continuous environments.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 10th Pass / ITI / Relevant vocational training.
1-2 years of hands-on experience operating
ribbon burner ovens
in biscuit or bakery production.
