Croda is listed on the London Stock Exchange with over 6,000 staff globally and specialises in the research, development, and manufacturing of ingredients for the Pharmaceutical sector. One of our strategic objectives is to fast grow out business in Asia and, following the opening of a new R&D centre in Hyderabad, we are looking for an experienced Manager to lead the global Outsourcing strategy for our Pharma business. Reporting to the Global Managing Director for Operations, and working closely with our VP R&D, you will be responsible for harmonising and leading the Outsourcing Strategy across our Pharma platforms, whilst improving our technical capability in manufacturing and analytical services. Who We\'re Looking For Degree qualified with prior experience working in a Procurement and/or Technical capacity within the Pharmaceutical sector Excellent knowledge of CDMO and GMP manufacturing practices Proven leadership skills with the ability to engage and influence global teams Strong appreciation of supply chain and manufacturing operations within the Pharma sector Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to promote a highly proactive and collaborative culture Prior experience working across cultures with the curiosity to identify and implement improvements Key Responsibilities Ownership to develop and lead the Outsourcing strategy comprising multi-year contract management and coordinating purchase spend across the Pharma business. Deliver an efficient and effective outsourcing service to the business to mitigates risks which could have major commercial and reputational impact. Ensure effective global overview of regulatory compliance, contract management, standards/accreditations, cost effectiveness and governance. Act as a key authority in the procurement of highly regulated speciality products and laboratory analytical services Provide leadership of procurement sustainability, supply chain due diligence and material data Maintain industry knowledge of Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisations (CDMO) and other specialist organisations such as analytical services, influencing the strategies of the global product platforms within the business. Develop creative solutions to innovation pipeline and supply chain issues, building partnerships with service providers in order to meet the company\'s strategic growth targets.
