Position Summary
S&P Global is seeking an experienced and self-motivated individual to manage both client relationships within the Portfolio Management Services group, as well as manage a team of Individual Contributors responsible for daily execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client-driven strategy and client support throughout multiple aspects of the business. Additional responsibilities include coordination of issue resolution, training, reporting, keen understanding/presentation of the clients\' business structure, product pipeline, and market footprint. This individual will help set the vision of our team, as well as the daily tone of positive client experiences.
Duties & Accountabilities
Responsible to manage a team of 15 people for Quality Control business with in WSO Operations
Responsible for client task management as it relates to daily deliverables, product improvements, the strategic roadmap, and the prioritization of these expectations
Manage performance feedback of each team member through coaching/training by way of quarterly assessments, frequent one-on-one conversations and shared client interaction
Help source, recruit, and retain top talent
Understand and communicate career path/progression to each team member
Ensure the team meets or exceeds internal and external metrics
Create proper controls mechanism within the team to avoid any BAU misses and data breaches
Represent trade settlement across business
Complete special projects as assigned
Work with different department to identify cross training opportunities and bringing efficiency
Flexible to move within the department if required
Business Competencies
Education and experience
MBA - Finance /BBA or equivalent experience
Finance Major preferred
Commercial awareness
Syndicated Lending
Banking or investment industry experience
Customer relations experience
Management requirements
8-10 years of tangible experience managing a team of individual contributors in the financial services industry
