Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2-5 years of experience in outsourcing/vendor coordination in machining/manufacturing industry.
Exposure to Oil & Gas / Aerospace / Defense sector requirements will be an advantage
Coordinate with external vendors/subcontractors for machining, fabrication, surface treatment, and related processes.
Review technical drawings, machining requirements, and process specifications before outsourcing.
Ensure outsourced work meets Gemsons' quality standards, dimensional accuracy, and compliance requirements.
Conduct vendor visits to monitor progress, quality checks, and adherence to timelines.
Negotiate lead times, resolve technical queries, and maintain cost-effectiveness in outsourcing activities.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team for inspection and approval of outsourced components.
Prepare reports on vendor performance, cost analysis, and process improvements.
Support production planning by ensuring timely availability of outsourced parts.
Maintain documentation related to outsourced processes, approvals, and vendor communications.
