In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business by meeting with prospective clients face-to-face, understanding their marketing needs, and offering tailored advertising solutions. You'll work independently in the field, building strong client relationships and driving revenue growth through strategic ad sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold visits, networking, referrals, and local prospecting.
Meet clients in person to present advertising solutions across various platforms (e.g., print, digital, outdoor, social media, radio, etc.).
Understand client goals and recommend appropriate ad packages that align with their marketing objectives and budget.
Negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to post-sale service.
Maintain and grow a book of business through relationship building and regular client follow-up.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Provide detailed sales reports and updates through CRM tools.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and new advertising solutions.
Requirements:
2+ years of sales experience, preferably in advertising, media, or marketing services.
Proven track record of closing deals and achieving sales targets.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Comfortable working in the field, conducting face-to-face meetings with clients.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if travel is required).
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience selling advertising (Bus media, etc.)
Understanding of digital marketing tools like SEO, PPC, display ads, and social media ads
Local market knowledge and existing business network is a plus
