Key Responsibilities



1. Government Outreach & Relationship Management



Build and maintain strong relationships with central, state, and local government departments relevant to CSR, women & child development, health, education, and public welfare.

Represent the organisation in meetings with IAS officers, department heads, mission directors, and programme administrators.

Track new government schemes, missions, tenders, and partnership opportunities that align with organisational CSR goals.

Liaise with government bodies for project approvals, MoUs, compliance requirements, and reporting.

2. CSR Program Planning & Execution



Identify and structure CSR initiatives that can be co-run with government departments or complement ongoing public programs (health, education, skill development, community wellbeing, digital literacy, etc.).

Manage end-to-end execution: scoping, budgeting, planning, implementation, monitoring, and impact assessment.

Work closely with internal teams, NGOs, and field partners to ensure field-level execution quality and timely delivery.

3. Policy & Compliance



Stay updated on CSR regulations under the Companies Act (Schedule VII, Section 135), MCA guidelines, state-wise CSR directives, and sectoral policy developments.

Prepare proposals, MoUs, compliance documents, utilisation certificates, impact reports, and government-required documentation.

Maintain transparency, audit readiness, and accountability for all CSR-related activities.

4. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication



Create and deliver presentations, briefs, concept notes, and reports tailored for government stakeholders.

Coordinate with ministries, district administration, municipal bodies, and special task forces for program rollout.

Organise joint events, workshops, health camps, awareness drives, or training sessions with government collaboration.

5. Monitoring, Evaluation & Impact



Track project KPIs, timelines, beneficiary coverage, field performance, and partner efficiency.

Conduct field visits across districts/states to evaluate implementation quality.

Publish quarterly and annual impact reports showcasing measurable outcomes and alignment with government priorities.

Skills & Competencies



Strong understanding of CSR law, governance structures, and public-sector functioning.

Proven experience in government liaison, advocacy, or institutional partnerships.

Excellent communication skills--written briefs, proposals, presentations, and policy-aligned documentation.

Ability to navigate bureaucracy professionally and respectfully.

Project management skills--planning, budgeting, execution, monitoring.

Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to social impact.

Experience & Qualifications



5-15 years of experience in CSR, government relations, public policy, or development sector partnerships.

Experience engaging with state/central government departments, PSUs, missions, or national programmes is preferred.

Master's degree in Social Work, Public Policy, Development Studies, Political Science, or related fields.

Experience with NGOs, large corporates, or public-sector consulting is an added advantage.

MoUs and collaborative projects signed with key departments.

High-quality, compliant CSR program execution with measurable outcomes.
