Job Description

Overview:
As the Outreach Coordinator for our Mobile Health Clinics, encompassing mammography and dental/physicians services, you will be instrumental in expanding access to essential healthcare services for underserved communities. You will develop and execute outreach strategies to raise awareness about the importance of preventive healthcare, coordinate clinic visits, and collaborate with community partners to ensure the success of our mobile health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Outreach Strategy Development

to increase number of camps and response to those camps. Devise comprehensive outreach plans to increase awareness of preventive healthcare services, including mammography screenings and dental/physicians' visits, within target communities. Identify and engage key stakeholders, community organizations, and influencers to support outreach efforts. Utilize diverse communication channels such as social media, community events, health fairs, and educational workshops to reach the target audience.

Community Engagement:

Cultivate and maintain relationships with community leaders, healthcare providers, local organizations, and other stakeholders to garner support for our mobile health clinics. Organize and participate in community outreach events, health expos, and educational sessions to promote preventive healthcare practices. Tailor outreach strategies to address the unique needs and cultural backgrounds of diverse communities.

Scheduling and Coordination:

Coordinate with internal teams to schedule visits for the mobile mammography clinic, dental services, and physicians' consultations at various locations within the target communities. Manage logistical arrangements for each clinic visit, including securing permits, arranging parking, and coordinating with site hosts. Ensure that all necessary equipment and resources are available and properly maintained for each clinic visit.

Education and Counseling:

Provide education and counseling to community members about the importance of preventive healthcare, including regular mammograms, dental check-ups, and medical screenings. Address questions, concerns, and misconceptions related to healthcare services and screenings. Assist individuals in navigating the healthcare system and connecting them with appropriate resources for follow-up care.

Data Management and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, clinic visits, screenings conducted, and follow-up actions taken. Generate regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of outreach efforts and track key performance indicators. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and organizational protocols.
Logistics and staff management

Qualifications:

MSW, BSW, Bachelor's degree in public health, community outreach, health education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Previous experience in community outreach, health promotion, or healthcare coordination, particularly in underserved communities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse populations and build relationships with stakeholders. Knowledge of preventive healthcare practices, including mammography screenings, dental care, and general medical screenings. Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management software. Bilingual proficiency (if applicable) is advantageous. Willingness to travel locally and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?31,241.69 per month
