(also referred to as an Operations Executive or Front Desk Executive in an outlet setting) manages the daily operations of a local courier office, focusing on customer service, shipment processing, logistics coordination, and administrative tasks
Customer Service:
Greeting walk-in customers, assisting them with shipping needs, answering queries, resolving complaints, and providing shipment tracking updates.
Shipment Management:
Receiving, sorting, weighing, and preparing incoming and outgoing packages and documents for transit. This involves verifying contents, ensuring proper packaging, and applying labels.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate logs and records of all incoming/outgoing mail and courier activities, which often involves using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or logistics software.
Logistics Coordination:
Liaising with delivery drivers, dispatch teams, and warehouse staff to schedule timely pickups and dispatches, and monitoring delivery timelines.
Administrative Duties:
Handling general office tasks such as managing phone calls, processing payments, maintaining office supplies, and potentially assisting with billing and invoicing.
Compliance:
Ensuring all operations adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and relevant legal standards.
