Job Summary

The

Outlet Manager

plays a key role in the success of Defence Bakery Private Limited by:

Leading outlet operations and managing bakery and kitchen teams to deliver a premium customer experience Achieving sales targets and improving profitability through operational excellence Upholding Defence Bakery's values to foster a positive work culture and protect brand reputation
This role is accountable for enhancing and growing store performance in alignment with Defence Bakery's mission and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence:

Manage day-to-day outlet operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance with quality and safety standards

Customer Experience:

Deliver exceptional service by training, motivating teams, and addressing customer feedback

Inventory & Stock Management:

Maintain optimal stock levels, coordinate with vendors, and ensure product availability

Financial Management:

Manage budgets, control costs, analyze performance, and implement corrective actions

Strategic Decision-Making:

Address operational challenges and improve outlet performance through informed decisions

Market Awareness:

Track industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity

Compliance & Standards:

Ensure adherence to legal requirements, company policies, and health & safety regulations

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and manage staff performance while fostering teamwork and accountability

Qualifications & Skills

Graduate (Hotel Management / IHM preferred)

5+ years

experience in Food Retail / FMCG Retail / QSR, with

minimum 2+ years in a leadership role

Strong customer service and problem-solving skills Proven ability to meet sales targets and improve profitability Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and expense management Strong analytical and decision-making abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
