Our client is a fast-growing Destination Management Company for New Zealand, focused on the Indian outbound market. About the Role



The role will be based out of DMC's India office. Your role will involve developing tour packages, creating quotations, negotiating deals, customizing itineraries, and closing deals with clients from all over India. The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with a Destination Management Company (DMC) or as an outbound tour operator within the travel industry. This role requires a deep understanding of both the Indian and New Zealand markets.

Destination Operations



Design tour packages as per clients' requirements. Collaborate closely with the New Zealand office to customize packages, plan itineraries, set pricing, and create unique experiences for individual proposals. Timely follow-up on proposals sent. Manage the Group Tours as a specialist, coordinating with TA, Trip leader and internal teams and vendors. Communicate with Vendors when required. Handle agents professionally, ensuring smooth communication and operations. Able to compare quotes on various sites and quote ahead. Provide 24/7 support to clients while they are on tour, assisting with any needs or issues that arise. Manage emergencies effectively to ensure clients have a seamless and enjoyable travel experience.

Support Role:



Developing & maintaining close partnerships with Outbound Travel Agents and Tour Operators.

Management of packages & inventory on the channel manager/extranet.

Coordinate seamlessly between Sales, Marketing, and teams in India and New Zealand while handling queries and bookings.

Providing market and competitor insights.

Participate in specialised travel fairs, promotional events, and sustainable travel initiatives as and when needed.

Candidate Requirements



Preferred Qualification and Experience:



Preferably postgraduate degree in travel & tourism sector.

Candidates will have a minimum 4-5 years' experience working in the FIT, GIT & MICE preferably as outbound tour operators from India.

Ability to handle emergencies.

Experience in drafting tour packages and itinerary preparation.

Extensive knowledge of the Travel & Tourism sector and Outbound market segmentations in India.
