The role requires travelling across various areas in Chennai to identify potential distributors and generate qualified leads. This is a fully field-based position and best suited for candidates who enjoy travelling, exploring new areas, and building strong relationships. Key Responsibilities Travel to different locations within Chennai on a daily basis for distributor/lead identification Generate new leads through field visits and market observation Use creative methods to identify potential distributors (e.g., visiting stalls, observing delivery locations, following competitor vehicles, etc.) Promote company's products and clearly explain the benefits to interested prospects Share daily market reports and lead details with the internal team Meet weekly and monthly lead generation targets Eligibility Criteria Any Bachelor's degree (MBA in Marketing preferred) Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of field sales experience are welcome Strong communication & interpersonal skills Must be willing to travel extensively within Chennai Good knowledge of local areas/market is an added advantage Ability to think creatively and independently to identify new leads Benefits Attractive incentives based on performance Allowances for field travel Opportunity to grow within the organization High performers will be considered for full-time Sales Executive positions in their respective region Sample Daily Timeline - Outbound Sales Executive (Chennai) 09:00am - 10:00am Check route plan for the day, review yesterday's leads, call and confirm appointments with potential distributors in target areas. 10:00am - 11:00am Travel to the first local market area (e.g., T. Nagar, Velachery, etc.) and begin visiting nearby retail stalls and beverage shops. 11:00am - 12:00pm Observe and follow other cold drink delivery vehicles to identify current distributors; collect key data (location, distributor name, shop name, etc.). 12:00pm - 1:00pm Approach identified distributors or shops, introduce the company's products, and explain distribution opportunities and benefits. 1:00pm - 2:00pm Lunch break + quick review of leads collected so far. 2:00pm - 3:00pm Visit 2nd target location (another locality) and repeat field visits to prospect new leads and distributors in the area. 3:00pm - 4:00pm Use creative techniques (observe roadside stalls, enquire with shop owners, follow competitor vehicles, etc.) to identify new distributor leads. 4:00pm - 5:00pm Meet interested distributors for a detailed discussion and collect possible onboarding documents (contact details, firm name, etc.). 6:00pm - 7:00pm Return to home location and prepare daily report -- list of leads identified, distributors met, follow-up tasks for next day. Goals for the Role Must generate at least four qualified leads per day from various Chennai locations (new distributors and potential customers).
