Driving Infinite Possibilities Within A Diversified, Global Organization Responsibilities Support the OTP program management, interact with Dell, VMware, Intel and other stake holder, stay abreast of industry changes and new technology trends, test innovate and design to ensure OTP remains a value prop for HBS globally, develop and support OTP roadmaps. Support P&E team, support design and engineering of OTP solutions, hold design workshops, training, act as Global SME, review/support large bids/design, support global TRR Manage internal and external resources pertaining to the OTP program, Dell Global Premier Portal, HBT OTP Support Pages, Knowledge base, HBS Global Image Library etc Maintain OTP 7-Part LMS training Library, host and manage internal technical sessions - update and maintain training materials Coordinate with existing members of the HBS ICT Operations team on OTP image development, scripts, hardening, testing and validation of OTP solutions Provide centralised global SME support to all regions - design, engineer, deployment, support/management and lifecycle Test and evaluate new technology and existing OTP portfolio, establish design documents, publish test results, interact with BC Support and LSTB to maintain global compatibility matrix Support OTP roadmap and product evolution, test evaluate new hardware generations, migrate projects to latest generations in line with vendor roadmaps Support global pricing negotiations with VMware, Microsoft, Dell along with Global Supply Chain - ICT & Cybersecurity Support OTP reporting requirements and monthly global leadership reporting Work with LSTB (large system test bed) to test and qualify OTP hardware and software in combination with HBS core products (EBI, DVM, ProWatch, MaxPro etc) Support global architects with design and engineering on OTP platforms YOU MUST HAVE Technical Diploma and/or Tertiary Education in Information Technology/Systems or Computer Science (Essential) or Automation/Electronics Engineering. Alternatively have a good grounding in Engineering or qualification with experience. Training in relevant ICT industry technologies such as MCSA/MCSE (Microsoft), VCP (VMware), CCNA (Cisco) or similar. Project management skills - PNP or similar Enterprise architecture certification, such as TOGAF is highly beneficial Good interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills Effective communicator with a flexible approach to team work. Current and demonstrated knowledge and systems experience at a senior level in an enterprise environment with the following technologies: Windows Servers Microsoft Active Directory Services Virtualization Technologies (VMware preferred) Networking, TCP/IP and LAN/WAN SAN Storage (iSCSI / Fibre Channel) Microsoft SQL Server
