Position: OTA Deployment Engineer & OTA Packaging Engineer (TK37SF RM 3666)

Mandatory Skills

o OTA Deployment - experience in vehicles

o OTA Packaging experience

Roles and Responsibilities

Perform Deployments for over the air updates on the vehicle


Learn Ford Applications to trigger the deployments and track the deployment


Apply Ford proprietary processes and tools to deploy Over-the-Air (OTA) software updates to company-owned and consumer vehicles.


Triage OTA deployment failures and resolve issues.


Support software testing teams, quality teams, customer response center, and dealership service teams in issue resolution and OTA redeployment.


Contribute to the requirements and automation of the OTA Deployment Operations processes and tools.


Support the training and standardization of Ford's OTA deployment methodology globally.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related technical field


2 years of experience in software deployment operations. OTA experience in automotive industry preferred.


Experience with Ford's software release management and/or software test processes is preferred.


Experience using SQL, LookerStudio, JIRA and similar technologies
