We are seeking a skilled and compassionate OT Technician to join our dedicated team at [Hospital Name], a leading cancer care center. The OT Technician will assist in surgical procedures, ensure operating rooms are prepared and maintained, and support the surgical team to provide high-quality care for oncology patients.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain operating theatre for surgeries, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.

- Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses during operations, including handling instruments and supplies.

- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.

- Manage and maintain surgical equipment, ensuring functionality and timely servicing.

- Track and replenish OT supplies and consumables.

- Handle patient positioning, draping, and preparation for surgery.

- Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and inventory.

- Support emergency procedures and respond quickly to changing situations in the OT.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth patient flow and safety.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology (DOTT) or equivalent certification.

- 1-3 years of experience in an OT setting, preferably in a cancer hospital or multi-specialty hospital.

- Knowledge of surgical procedures, especially oncology surgeries, is a plus.

- Familiarity with sterilization techniques, infection control, and OT equipment.

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

- Attention to detail and high level of hygiene standards.
