To check all Anaesthesia related equipment's, machines and drugs before start of each case and inform/alert the Anesthetist or HOD well in time about any shortage.
To document the checking of all Anaesthesia equipment's in the pre-operative check list.
To help in shifting of patients to and from the OT, or back to the Recovery Room or wards
To check drugs trolley for emergency tray, crash cart, arrange anaesthesia drugs as per Anesthetist's requirement
To clean and sterilize equipment's and Operation Theatre and send for cultures and documentation as per laid down protocol.
To help in positioning of the patient , focusing light, fixing cautery, showing C-Arm (image intensifier)
To help Anaesthetist in all his work including induction of Anaesthesia, Incubation and Extubation of trachea, starting or changing IV fluids, arranging blood or blood products.
To procure all equipment required well in time and billing the consumed products in the patients name.
To help in maintenance and cleaning of equipment's.
To supervise the other junior Technicians in doing quality work and documentation and to take part in their training.
Coordinating with Maintenance, CSSD, Pharmacy and Stores as per requirement
To bring to notice of the HOD any shortage of drugs or equipment malfunctioning or any significant matter.
Total Responsibility of Laparoscopy instruments, its maintenance, procurement and proper use will be with one of the Sr.Technicians
Roster management, leave scheduling, OT placement of Technicians, indenting of drugs and equipment's and other administrative responsibilities will be with the other Sr. Technician Or OT Manager.
Having experience of 2-3 years.
