Job Description

Set up anesthesia machines, monitors, and related equipment. Inspect and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment. Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and store reusable equipment. Assist with patient positioning and preparation for anesthesia. Set up IV lines, airway management tools, and other necessary devices. Monitor and restock anesthesia carts and supplies. Prepare medications, fluids, and gases as directed by the anesthesiologist. Maintain accurate records of equipment checks and usage. Assist in emergency resuscitation procedures if needed. Maintain adequate stock of anesthesia-related materials. Order and receive supplies as needed. Track expiration dates and proper storage of medications and disposables. Follow hospital policies and procedures. Adhere to infection control and hazardous material handling protocols. Participate in ongoing training and certification.
