Before Surgery (Pre-operative)

Operating Room Preparation:

Setting up surgical tools, instruments, and equipment like monitors and anesthesia machines.

Sterilization & Infection Control:

Ensuring the OT room is sterile and completely functional by cleaning and sterilizing instruments using autoclaves and adhering to infection control policies.

Equipment Check:

Verifying the functionality of all surgical equipment before the procedure begins.

Patient Handling:

Assisting in safely moving and correctly positioning the patient on the operating table and securing them with supports.

Stock Management:

Checking and refilling supplies like gloves, drapes, syringes, and sutures.
During Surgery (Intra-operative)

Surgical Assistance:

Working closely with the surgeon and other medical staff by passing instruments and supplies as needed.

Equipment Monitoring:

Monitoring equipment readings and ensuring all necessary items are functioning.

Emergency Support:

Assisting in handling emergencies and providing immediate support to the anesthetist and surgical team.

Sterile Field Maintenance:

Keeping the operating environment clean and preventing contamination of instruments and supplies.
After Surgery (Post-operative)

Equipment Sterilization:

Cleaning and packing all instruments and equipment for sterilization after each procedure.

Post-Operative Room Care:

Maintaining cleanliness and order in the operating room after the surgery is complete.

Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate records of surgical procedures, equipment usage, and sterilization cycles.

Waste Management:

Managing and disposing of hazardous and biomedical waste according to established protocols.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Experience:

OT Technician: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
