Job Description

:

Assisting with doctors and nurses during surgical procedures.

Perform most of the support work for an operating room.

Prepare the room for surgery; including stocking supplies and tools and ensuring sanitary operating conditions.

Assist other medical personnel during the procedure by helping staff put on gowns and gloves.

May also hold and pass surgical tools during the procedure.

After the surgery, the technologist may transport the patient to recovery areas and be responsible for operating room clean up and restocking.

May serve as an instructor/facilitator of educational in-services for other OT technicians.

May act as a role model for orientation and training of technicians and other health care team members.

May assume OT technologist charge role in managing daily work schedule of anesthesia technicians and directing care to provide an efficient and safe environment.

Performs other duties as assigned by the HOD.

Participates and contributes to all the Quality Improvement activities of the department.

Adheres to the rules and regulations of the MHT and assures that work performed is in keeping with the established standards of the NABH.

Performs any other tasks and duties appropriate to his/her realm of knowledge, skills and experience as required by the management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
