Prepare an operating room for surgery. Assist surgeon during the procedure. Cleanse and disinfect surgical instruments and or equipment after surgeries Prepare surgical instruments and equipment for autoclave/sterilization per the protocol. Maintain and keep all equipment clean and functional. Prepare the patient before and after surgery by washing and disinfecting the area for surgery. Prepare necessary equipment and instruments prior to procedure/surgery. Clean and disinfect the operating room area after each procedure/surgeries. Report any defective equipment and instrument for repair or replacement. Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Certification:

OT Technician .

Registration:

Current registration with the appropriate state board.

Experience:

Previous experience as an OR Technician preferred.(Minimum -5 years )

Skills:

Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Excellent manual dexterity and coordination. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
