Responsibility:
An OT (Operating Theatre) Technician, also called an Operation Room Technician or Scrub Nurse, prepares and manages the operating room, equipment, and supplies, and assists the surgical team (surgeons, nurses, anesthetists) before, during, and after operations, ensuring a sterile environment and technical support for procedures like general surgery, neurosurgery, and gynecology. They handle patient positioning, equipment setup (like anesthesia machines, surgical instruments), sterilization, and patient monitoring, requiring skills in anatomy, medical equipment, and teamwork.
