Key Responsibilities:
Prepare the operation theatre before and after each procedure.
Assist surgeons and nursing staff during operations by handling instruments and equipment.
Sterilize, arrange, and check surgical instruments and supplies.
Maintain and operate OT equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
Ensure adherence to hospital infection control and sterilization protocols.
Assist in positioning and transferring patients safely.
Manage OT inventory and report shortages or malfunctions.
Dispose of biomedical waste safely in accordance with hospital policies.
Support the surgical team during emergency and elective procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma / Certificate in Operation Theatre Technology from a recognized institution.
Prior experience as an OT Technician in a hospital setting preferred.
Strong understanding of surgical instruments, equipment, and aseptic techniques.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations.
