Verify

patient identity, consent, and surgical site

Prepare and arrange

sterile instruments, drapes, and consumables

before each surgery. Maintain

aseptic technique

and a sterile field during the operation. Pass instruments and anticipate surgeon's needs. Conduct

instrument, swab, and needle counts

. Handle and label specimens correctly. Report any

breach of sterility or equipment malfunction

immediately. Clean, decontaminate, and send instruments to

CSSD

after surgery. Dispose of waste as per

Biomedical Waste Rules / NABH

Maintain OT records, sterilization logs, and checklists. Participate in

infection-control rounds, quality audits, and safety trainings

Qualification & Experience

Minimum:

Diploma or Certificate in Operation Theatre Technology (recognized by State/University Board).

Preferred:

B.Sc. in Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology.

Experience:

2-5 years in a surgical OT setup (scrub side). Must be trained in

sterile techniques

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
