Coordinate surgical schedules and ensure timely preparation of OT.
Monitor sterilization processes, instruments, and equipment readiness.
Lead, guide, and train OT nursing staff and technicians.
Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
Maintain inventory of surgical supplies and manage procurement requirements.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing teams to ensure smooth procedures.
Handle documentation, OT records, and incident reporting.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and statutory regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
GNM/B.Sc Nursing or equivalent qualification.
Minimum
3-5 years of experience
in OT, with at least
1 year in a supervisory role
(preferred).
Strong knowledge of OT procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.
Excellent leadership, communication, and multitasking skills.
Ability to handle emergency situations and make quick decisions.
