Job Description

. Pre-operative Care:

Prepare the operation theatre by ensuring all necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies are sterile and available. Check and prepare the patient for surgery as per protocol. Verify patient identity, consent, and surgical site as per hospital policy. Assist anesthetist during induction of anesthesia.

2. Intra-operative Care:

Maintain a sterile field and assist surgeons during the procedure. Handle surgical instruments, sponges, and sutures efficiently. Monitor and record patient's vital signs during the procedure. Ensure proper labeling and handling of specimens. Maintain accurate intra-operative documentation.

3. Post-operative Care:

Assist in transferring the patient safely to the recovery room. Provide immediate post-operative care and monitoring. Handover patient details to the recovery staff as per protocol.

4. Infection Control & Safety:

Adhere to infection control policies and aseptic techniques. Ensure proper sterilization and disinfection of instruments and equipment. Dispose of biomedical waste as per hospital policy. Report any equipment malfunction or safety hazard to the in-charge nurse.

5. Administrative & Other Duties:

Maintain accurate OT records, checklists, and equipment logs. Participate in OT team meetings and quality improvement initiatives. Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies. Attend continuing nursing education and training sessions.

Pay: ?20,086.00 - ?30,714.04 per month
