Key Responsibilities

Assist surgeons and anesthetists during surgical procedures. Prepare the OT before surgery--sterilization, equipment setup, and instrument checks. Ensure strict adherence to aseptic and infection-control protocols. Manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment before, during, and after procedures. Perform pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. Maintain accurate documentation and patient records. Monitor patient vitals and condition in the OT and recovery room. Coordinate with the surgical team for smooth workflow and timely surgeries. Handle emergency OT procedures when required. Ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste as per guidelines.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of OT protocols and surgical procedures. Ability to work under pressure and in critical situations. Good communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and responsibility. Knowledge of sterilization techniques and equipment handling.
