Job Description

Prepare the Operation Theater according to the surgical list and specialty requirements.

Check and arrange sterile instruments, equipment, sutures, consumables, and trays.

Perform surgical scrub, gowning, and gloving as per aseptic standards.

Verify sterility indicators, equipment functionality, and availability of specialty-specific instruments (orthopedic, neuro, cardiac, general surgery, etc.).

Assist in patient positioning by ensuring safety and comfort (as required).

Assist surgeons by passing instruments, sutures, and materials efficiently and accurately.

Maintain the sterile field at all times and ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques.

Anticipate surgeon's needs based on the procedure and specialty.

Perform instrument, sponge, and sharp counts with circulating nurse before incision, during surgery, and before closure.

Handle and label specimens correctly for laboratory investigation.

Dispose of biomedical waste according to hospital infection control policies.

Qualification : GNM/BSc Nursing

Experience: 3yr - 7yrs Relevant experience in Operation Theatre is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹19,500.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
