Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operation Theatre (OT) Nurse to assist surgeons and anesthesiologists in providing safe and efficient surgical care. The OT Nurse will be responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, assisting during surgical procedures, and ensuring patient safety before, during, and after surgery. The candidate should be willing to work day and night shifts as per OT schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare the operation theatre before surgeries by ensuring availability of instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies. Assist surgeons during procedures as a scrub nurse or circulating nurse. Maintain strict aseptic and infection control standards in the OT. Verify patient identity, surgical site, and consent prior to procedures. Monitor patients' condition during surgery and report any abnormalities. Assist anesthesiologists during induction and recovery phases. Maintain accurate surgical records, counts of instruments, sponges, and needles. Ensure proper cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance of OT equipment. Support post-operative patient transfer and handover.

Eligibility & Qualifications:

GNM / B.Sc Nursing qualification from a recognized institution. Valid nursing council registration. Experience in Operation Theatre nursing preferred (freshers may apply as per hospital policy). Willingness to work rotational day and night shifts.
