Qualification:

GNM / B.Sc Nursing Minimum 2 years of experience as an OT Nurse Registered with the Nursing Council (preferred)

Job Responsibilities:1. Operation Theatre Assistance

Assist surgeons during procedures Prepare OT instruments, equipment, and surgical trays Maintain sterility and follow all OT protocols

2. Pre-Operative Duties

Prepare patients for surgery Verify patient details, consent forms, and surgical site Ensure availability of required supplies before procedure

3. Intra-Operative Duties

Assist in positioning patients Handle instruments and equipment during surgery Monitor patient vitals and support the anesthesia team

4. Post-Operative Duties

Transfer patients safely to recovery Monitor patient recovery condition Maintain accurate post-operative documentation

5. Instrument Care & Sterilization

Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments Ensure proper maintenance of OT equipment

6. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain OT records, checklists, and reports Coordinate with the surgical and nursing team

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of OT procedures and aseptic techniques Ability to work in high-pressure environments Good communication and patient-handling skills Team coordination and time management
