ARAM Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated

Operating Room Nurse

with experience in

Ophthalmology

to support surgeons during procedures and maintain a sterile, well-organized operating environment. Candidates with prior experience in ophthalmic surgeries and OT equipment handling are preferred.

The ideal candidate is efficient, detail-oriented, compassionate, and capable of responding quickly in emergency situations. Strong knowledge of surgical protocols and patient safety practices is essential.

Responsibilities

Assess patients prior to surgery and address any concerns. Prepare and gather all supplies required for ophthalmic procedures. Maintain strict sterility and cleanliness in the operating room. Position and prepare patients on the operating table. Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supporting intraoperative tasks. Monitor patient vital signs and identify any abnormalities. Provide postoperative assessment and support. Follow all safety standards, infection-control protocols, and hospital policies. Perform assigned duties within or outside the sterile field as needed.

Requirements

Minimum

1 year of experience

as an OT Nurse (circulating and scrub). Hands-on experience in

Ophthalmology OT

preferred. Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques. Strong understanding of patient safety and surgical precautions. In-depth knowledge of ophthalmic surgical procedures and equipment. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Diploma in Nursing
