Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled

Operation Theatre (OT) Nurse

to join our surgical team. The OT Nurse will be responsible for providing safe, efficient, and sterile nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain the operation theatre with strict adherence to aseptic techniques Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and the surgical team during procedures Ensure availability and proper functioning of surgical instruments and equipment Perform roles as

Scrub Nurse / Circulating Nurse

as required Monitor patient safety and vital signs during surgical procedures Follow surgical safety checklists and hospital protocols Handle, count, and document surgical instruments, swabs, and needles accurately Maintain OT records, documentation, and inventory management Ensure proper sterilization, infection control, and waste management practices Assist in patient transfer, positioning, and post-operative care Respond effectively to emergency situations in the OT

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and OT protocols Excellent understanding of sterilization and infection control practices Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments Good communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and patient-centered approach
