Job Descibtion:

To prepare duty roster for the staff. To check the booking register a day before surgery, for the special requirement and to co-ordinate with the surgeon & anesthetist. To ensure that aseptic technique is maintained strictly in OT. To check whether the consumables instruments and equipment's are available for the surgery. To ensure that all the equipment's are functioning properly. To check if all surgeries on completion is documented properly. To maintain the emergency stock in Operation Theatre. To co-ordinate with Operation Theatre technician, biochemical and housekeeping staff. To ensure that the postoperative patients are handled carefully in the recovery room and transferred properly according to the protocol. Manage daily operations of the Ward, LDR, and IVF departments, ensuring seamless care. Ensure all patient care is delivered in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate patient care activities such as admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring a smooth process. Manage staffing levels and schedules to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency. Provide leadership, training, and performance evaluations to staff members to foster a high-performing team. Monitor patient outcomes, implementing quality improvement initiatives to optimize care delivery. Ensure that all equipment and supplies are maintained and readily available for use. Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient care and smooth operations. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on departmental activities for management.
