Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual with extensive experience working with orphans or abandoned children and facilitating their admission into orphanages or childcare institutions. The ideal candidate will have strong outreach skills, a network within child welfare services, and a genuine passion for child protection and welfare. The candidate should be a resident of Coimbatore only.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, engage, and assist orphaned or abandoned children in need of care and protection.

Liaise with local communities, NGOs, police departments, hospitals, and social welfare departments to ensure safe admission of children into orphanage care.

Manage documentation and legal procedures related to child admission and welfare in compliance with government and juvenile justice norms.

Maintain accurate records of each child's case, background, and progress.

Collaborate with orphanage management, counselors, and support staff to ensure the smooth transition and well-being of the children.

Report regularly on management of outreach activities, challenges, and outcomes.

Requirements:

Minimum 7-12 years of experience working in an orphanage or similar child welfare organization.

Proven track record in outreach and admission of children into institutional care.

Strong understanding of child protection laws, procedures, and welfare regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Empathy, patience, and a child-first approach.

Ability to work independently and handle emotionally sensitive cases with care and confidentiality.

Fluency in [local language] and English preferred.

Educational Qualification:

A degree/diploma in Social Work, Child Welfare, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
