Job Description

Select products from inventory shelves based on order tickets or digital instructions Scan and verify product codes using RF scanners or handheld devices Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment to move materials Stack, wrap, and label pallets for accurate and safe transport Inspect orders for accuracy, quality, and potential damage Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety protocols Track completed orders and document any discrepancies or shortages Work in refrigerated, dry, or freezer zones depending on facility type Meet performance goals for speed, accuracy, and productivity
Required Skills and QualificationsHard skills

Basic math and reading skills for order documentation Familiarity with RF scanners or inventory tracking systems Ability to operate or learn to use pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment Understanding of warehouse procedures, safety rules, and shipping protocols Physical capability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and work in fast-paced settings
Soft skills

Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment Dependability and punctuality in shift-based work Ability to work independently and follow instructions Teamwork and communication with warehouse staff Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights or weekends if needed
Education

High school diploma or GED is typically required
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in warehouse, shipping, or distribution center roles Familiarity with voice-pick systems or automated order fulfillment Ability to operate forklifts (forklift certification may be requested for certain facilities) Experience working in temperature-controlled storage environments
