Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Processor with advanced Excel skills to manage and process customer orders through Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). The ideal candidate will ensure accurate order fulfillment while maintaining exceptional attention to customer-specific requirements and implementing continuous improvement processes.
Key Responsibilities
Order Processing & Management
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently through Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
Review and validate order details including pricing, product specifications, quantities, and delivery requirements
Ensure all orders comply with customer-specific rules, preferences, and contractual agreements
Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders
Data Analysis & Excel Management
Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze order patterns, track performance metrics, and generate reports
Create and maintain complex spreadsheets for order tracking, customer requirements, and process documentation
Develop pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions, and automated formulas to streamline order processing workflows
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on order accuracy, processing times, and customer satisfaction metrics
Customer Requirements & Quality Assurance
Maintain detailed knowledge of each customer's specific ordering rules, preferences, and special requirements
Create and update customer profiles with unique processing instructions and handling procedures
Identify and escalate any discrepancies or issues that may impact customer satisfaction
Ensure 100% accuracy in order processing through systematic quality checks and validation procedures
Process Improvement & Issue Resolution
Document and track any missing information, errors, or process gaps for continuous improvement
Develop and implement corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences of identified issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline order processing workflows
Maintain comprehensive logs of process improvements and their impact on efficiency and accuracy
Communication & Coordination
Communicate effectively with customers via phone, email, and D365 messaging system
Provide clear and professional updates on order status, delays, or special handling requirements
Coordinate with sales teams to clarify customer requirements and resolve order-related questions
Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on process changes
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
including:
Complex formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS)
Pivot tables and data analysis tools
Macro creation and automation (preferred)
Data validation and conditional formatting
Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience
(D365 Finance & Operations or Business Central preferred)
