You will be working as Order Handling Engineer at global grade 15 and will be part of Motion Business Area for Traction Division based in Vadodara, India. In this role you will be reporting to Business Manager - Operations and will be responsible for leading the execution of medium- projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, relevant cyber security regulations and standards, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitmentsYour responsibilities Provides performance feedback regarding allocated resources working on projects, ensuring that the project follows execution best practices and ABB policies. Effectively monitoring and controling project progress and efficient resource utilization Monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow. Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, and managing project risks and ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursued Capturing analyses and sharing lessons learned throughout the project. Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and acknowledgement by the customer, all in accordance with the contract Ensuring that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with abb policies and contractual agreements. coordinating with supply chain management and successfully procures required services, materials, and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers Supporting procurement and logistics in supplier negotiations, claims and project changes. Acting as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders. Ensuring the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies Creating project HSE planning and ensuring that common HSE policies and reporting are implemented across the project with all stakeholders, including collaboration/consortium partners and sub-suppliers Demonstrating unique actions/initiatives to support site safety and ensuring consistent HSE performance. Demonstrating and proactively applies immediate recovery actions to mitigate schedule delays and cost overruns Your background BE/B tech in Electrical / Mechanical engineering Minimum 2+ years\' experience with commercial knowledge Strong Strategic, planning, execution, organizational skill is a must More about us ABB Traction is a leader in traction technologies, driving innovation in rail and e-mobility.
