Roles and Responsibilities
Work with sourcing team and vendor management for all locally procured items.
create regular op-mech with vendors for timely demand and supply management
Drive Inventory actions - Weekly aged inventory actions and movement with comments, Trending & Dashboard monitoring. Work with pjms for systemic updation (iStock, Sophia)
Explore Opportunity for Inventory Optimization among all 3 P&Ls
eDelivery process improvement working with global for fixing the aged issues proactively.
Reservation, scrap and Obso monitoring with follow up with action owners for closure
Drive Inventory Kaizen projects / Funnel, Process Improvement, Prepare dashboards in PBI/Sophia for business reporting
Check if inventory is liquidated on a First In, First Out (FIFO) basis, esp. for non-serialized products that will help with liquidation of aged inventory.
Short shipment Analysis - Review the run rate of Inventory and provide estimate for Accs. planning
Required Qualifications
Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
Min 3-5 years of experience into Inventory Management, Vendor management
Excellent Excel skills
Sourcing experience with 3rd party vendors
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
