As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be at the forefront of protecting Kyndryl's customers' computer systems and networks from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction. You will use a variety of tools and techniques to defend against a wide range of cyber threats, such as malware, ransomware, phishing attacks, and data breaches.
But that's not all - at Kyndryl, you will also have the opportunity to implement new cybersecurity systems and policies to ensure the protection of our customers' data and assets. You will monitor and review potential threats from various cybersecurity systems and conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) with new cyber security software to evaluate its effectiveness and potential integration into the organization's systems.
Not only will you be responsible for ensuring the security of Kyndryl's customers' network and systems, but you will also enrich the organization's knowledge towards potential cyber threats and best practices. You will provide automation scripts for threat hunting in customer environments using lessons learned from Cyber-attacks.
You will also have the opportunity to conduct penetration testing and threat and vulnerability assessments of applications, operating systems, and networks, responding to cybersecurity breaches and identifying intrusions. You will research and evaluate cybersecurity threats and perform root cause analysis, all while assisting in the creation and implementation of security solutions.

Key Responsibilities
1. SBC Administration & Configuration
7+ Years of experience in Serve as the
subject matter expert for Oracle (Acme Packet)
and
AudioCodes SBC platforms
, overseeing design, deployment, and ongoing management.
Configure and maintain
SIP trunks, routing tables, session agents, and transformation rules
within Oracle / AudioCodes SBC.
Perform
SBC clustering, redundancy, and failover configuration
for high availability and business continuity.
Manage
TLS/SRTP encryption, certificates, and security policies
to ensure secure SIP communications.
Integrate SBCs with
Avaya Aura Core
,
Cisco CUCM
,
Microsoft Teams
, or
SIP-based third-party systems
.
2. Voice Core & Avaya Integration
Provide
L3-level expertise in Avaya Aura ecosystem
, including:

Communication Manager (CM)
- Versions 6.3 and 8.1.2

Application Enablement Services (AES)

Session Manager (SM)

System Manager (SMGR)

Avaya Experience Portal (AEP)

Call Management System (CMS R19)
Perform
end-to-end SIP call trace and SM log analysis
to isolate signaling and interoperability issues.
Collaborate with Avaya and network teams to ensure smooth call routing, media flow, and integration between core voice components and SBCs.
Support
VoIP interoperability
between Avaya, Cisco, and external SIP providers.
3. SIP Signaling & Troubleshooting
Analyze and interpret
SIP signaling traces, SM logs, and SBC debug outputs
for detailed fault isolation.
Use diagnostic tools such as
with detailed call flow diagrams and corrective actions.
Collaborate with carriers, OEM vendors, and internal network teams for problem resolution.
4. Cross-Functional Integration & Network Skills
Configure and maintain
network routers, VLANs, QoS, and routing protocols (BGP/OSPF)
for voice traffic optimization.
Support
CUCM voice gateways
configuration, dial peers, SIP trunks, and codec negotiation.
Manage and troubleshoot
AudioCodes voice gateways
(Mediant series) and ensure seamless interworking with SBCs and PBX systems.
Work closely with
network security teams
to manage
firewall traversal, NAT configurations, and SIP ALG
issues.
Ensure end-to-end voice quality and service availability through
QoS monitoring and bandwidth management
.
5. Operations, Incident & Change Management
Act as
L3 escalation point
for critical incidents (P1/P2), providing timely resolution and RCA within SLA.
Review and validate
change requests (RFCs)
related to SBC, SIP routing, and core telephony configuration.
Conduct
pre- and post-implementation testing
for planned changes or maintenance windows.
Generate and present
monthly operational and capacity reports
, highlighting system performance and optimization opportunities.
Ensure compliance with
ITIL processes
and maintain accurate configuration and topology documentation.
6. System Optimization & Continuous Improvement
Evaluate and implement
SBC firmware upgrades, security patches, and performance enhancements

Optimize
SIP routing and media path design
to improve call quality and reduce latency.
Recommend and implement
automation scripts
for monitoring, reporting, and routine maintenance tasks.
Stay updated on latest
VoIP, SIP, and SBC technologies
