Job Title -Oracle PPM Functional Consultant

Location - PAN India (Remote)

Requirement:-
We are seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Cloud PPM, Projects & Grants Management Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team for a full end-to-end implementation with a leading utility client. This role will be responsible for capturing requirements, design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle Cloud Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Grants Management modules. The ideal candidate will bring strong functional expertise, technical acumen, and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver a successful implementation aligned with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Implementation & Solution Design

  • Lead and support all phases of the Oracle Cloud ERP PPM and Grants Management implementation -- including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, design, build, testing, training, and go-live.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions.
  • Design and configure core PPM modules, including:
  • Project Costing - project expenditures, labor costs, and asset capitalization
  • Project Billing - revenue recognition, invoicing, and contract funding
  • Project Financials Management - budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls
  • Project Execution Management - resource allocation, scheduling, and progress tracking
  • Grants Management - grant funding setup, compliance, and sponsor reporting
  • Evaluate the impact of current Fusion ERP business processes and provide expert recommendations.
  • Develop detailed solution documentation, including functional design, configuration workbooks, and process flows.
2. Configuration, Reporting & Data Management
  • Perform Oracle Cloud configurations and setups based on approved design documents.
  • Develop custom reports and dashboards using OTBI, BI Publisher, SmartView, and other Oracle reporting tools.
  • Support data conversion activities: mapping, validation, FBDI/ADFDI data loading, etc.
  • Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities leveraging Oracle functionality.
3. Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Ensure seamless integration between Oracle Cloud PPM and other ERP modules:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Procurement & Supply Chain (SCM)
  • Collaborate with technical teams on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and related interface design.
  • Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and resolve cross-module issues.
4. Testing, Training & Deployment
  • Develop and execute test scripts and validation scenarios for all phases.
  • Conduct end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions to ensure smooth adoption.
  • Support go-live planning, cutover activities, and post-implementation stabilization.
5. Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with client stakeholders, project managers, and functional leads to ensure alignment across workstreams.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices for Oracle Cloud PPM and Grants Management integrated into their current Oracle ERP configurations.
  • Facilitate and lead design workshops with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Oracle PPM Cloud Certified professional.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle ERP Cloud implementations, specifically in PPM and Grants Management.
  • Proven expertise leading full-cycle PPM implementations -- design, build, test, deploy, and post-go-live support.
  • Strong functional understanding of finance, project accounting, budgeting, and grants compliance.
  • Technical proficiency with SQL, OTBI, BI Publisher, and FBDI/ADFDI data management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, client-facing environment.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting Oracle Cloud ERP for utility companies, public sector, or other regulated industries.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and REST/SOAP web services.
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid implementation methodologies.
